    Text Willard Call Nelson Willard Call Nelson died June 17, 1994 of a heart attack
    while working at his canyon home.

    He was born on May 31,1915 in Provo, Utah, a son of Joseph and Eliza Call
    Nelson. He served an LDS mission in the French/Belgium/Swiss Mission. He
    married Edna Myers on January 31, 1944 in Washington D.C. Marriage servies
    conducted by Elder Ezra Taft Benson. Their marriage was later solemnized in
    the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

    Willard served five years in the armed forces, from 1942-46 in military
    intelligence, attaining the rank of major. He attended BYU and later received
    a degree in architecture at the University of Michigan In 1947. He then moved
    to Provo where he set up practice with his father and brother. He specialized
    in the design of educational and health care facilities. His work includes
    numerous hospitals throughout Utah. He served on numerous professional
    committees at the state and national levels. In 1986 he was inducted into the
    College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects, its highest award.
    He received the BYU Emeritus Club Special Recognition Award in 1993.

    He was a member of the LDS Edgemont 12 Ward and has served in numerous
    church callings, including a second LDS mission to the West Indies, which
    he served with this wife Edna from 1989-91.

    He is survived by his wife Edna; sons, David, Craig, Glade, Mathew; daughter,
    Debra Cusick; sisters, Lyle Paine and Eliza Lesher. He has 17 beautiful
    grandchildren.

    He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved being in the out-of-doors,
    horseback riding and working at his canyon home. He was an avid reader and a
    faithful supporter of local athletics. He will be greatly missed by all who
    loved him. Willard's fitst love was his family.

    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 1994 at 11 a.m. at the
    Edgemont 12th Ward LDS Chapel, 350 East 2950 North Provo, Friends may call
    at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center, on Tuesday evening, 6-8 p.m.
    or at the ward chapel on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment,
