Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park grew out of the historic 7-acre Cypress Cemetery, founded in 1872. Over the years, the cemetery expanded into its current 38 acres of gardens and mausoleums to serve our diverse cultural and ethnic community. The funeral home, remodeled in October 1977, currently serves over 1150 families each year and is the largest in Alameda County. The domed indoor mausoleum (the only round mausoleum in California) offers airy garden spaces and views of the surrounding hills and contains our newest cremation garden, the Atrium of Peace. We proudly serve a diverse ethnic and cultural community, and offer a full range of traditional and non-traditional services."
